Quilts

I thought since quilting is part of my blog title, I would share a couple quilts that I have made.

This is the last quilt I finished. I absolutely loved this pattern and the colors. I loved it as soon as I saw it, and I knew I needed it. The pattern is Fresh by Camille Rosekelly. The fabric is Lavishmint by Camelot fabrics. This was also my first time attempting a pieced back and I am thrilled with how it turned out.

This was the very first quilt I finished. (I have a few that I pieced the tops, but never did anything else.) My husband saw it at the quilt store (yes, I made him come to the quilt store with me, he wasn't happy about it, but he did it) and he commented that he liked it, so I got it as a surprise. This was a kit at my local quilt store.

This was the second quilt I made. Also for my husband. While the quilt above was the first quilt I completed by myself, this one was far more difficult, so I consider it my real first quilt, because it was so much more technical. And even though its not perfect, I am immensely proud of it. The pattern is Allegiance from Fons and Porter Love of Quilting.

Anyways. Those are some of my finished quilts. They are by far my favorite projects and I am proud of each one.
